About a week ago, I suddenly felt like trying a two-stage rocket, but I didn't have a kit. Since I'd also been toying with the idea of designing and building my first rocket from scratch, I decided to go for both at once - a big step for me.
I designed and built my first rocket from scratch, and launched it, all in only 13 days. It worked great!
Janus I is a two-stage rocket which flies on standard C motors. It is 20 inches tall and has a diameter of 1.64 inches (this is a BT60 in Estes standard tube size terms).
